Blacklisting works on some of the Post ads but not all?

Hello, I am experiencing a problem when Blacklisting certain content. For example, when I have ads after paragraphs 4 and 8 (4,8) …. but Blacklist ads on any “branded” pages… (/branded*) …. ads do not show up after paragraph 4 but they continue to show up only after paragraph 8? I even tried using ads after every 4th paragraph… but after paragraph 8 continues to show….? Does not seem like a plugin conflict…but not sure. Any ideas out there?
