repeating error_log ID is Null at class-eo-theme-compatability.php on line 289

Hi and thanks for a very useful plugin.

I have been getting a significant number (100s) of errors in error_log for a small community website.

They are:-

PHP Warning: Attempt to read property “ID” on null in /home/upperlan/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-organiser/includes/class-eo-theme-compatability.php on line 289.

They happen at fairly random times, for example

15-Sep-2024 04:06:53 UTC, 15-Sep-2024 04:07:21 UTC, 15-Sep-2024 05:39:29 UTC but each time it happens there are exactly 10 occurrences within that second.

I am not competent to debug this, so If anyone else has any ideas for me to try I would be grateful.
