Use with WPML (only translated version)

We are planning to use Customer Reviews for WooCommerce with WPML – but only in the translated localized version, not in the native language, because there we are using a third party plugin for reviews.
Is this possible without any problems, conflicts, etc?

In detail: We want to activate the Customer Reviews Plugin only for the translations and show stars beneath the product title and the widgets only in the translated version.

I am not sure if this is possible without probs, as we are using variable products, where some fields cannot be changed in the translation. The products are the same in the native and the translated version.
