Settings not updated? | WordPress.org

After installation the button was visible in the admin bar above. The text was a little bit long and I thought it was a “bug”. I hide it and the settings were saved…now I want it to bring back so I set the option to show and saved the settings…. It says the settings are saved but no button appears in the admin bar. No error was given.
