Plugin Changing Audio File Link – audio doesn’t play

Recently we started having an issue with the plugin changing the link of the audio file that is to be played on the website.

We have been using this plugin for a number of years already and never had this issue before.

We use WP OffLoad Media Lite to send the audio files to Amazon S3 as a CDN for our files. We’ve had this set up for a long time and it has worked really well.

But for some reason, the PowerPress plugin is adding the feed URL infront of the actual audio URL so that it doesn’t work (doesn’t play, play in a new window, or download) because it’s the wrong URL.

For example, the page I listed above, the actual audio file is:
https://tenaciouslivingradio.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/04124555/Melinda-Pokolinski.mp3

We add this link into the Podcast Episode box in our post. But the website renders it as:

https://getyouvisible.com/podcast/category/tenacious-living-network/feed/tenaciouslivingradio.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/04124555/Melinda-Pokolinski.mp3

With this part:
https://getyouvisible.com/podcast/category/tenacious-living-network/feed/

Infront of the actual audio link.

I have been looking through all settings attempting to figure out how to fix this. It seems to be coming from this plugin as when I put in the link elsewhere it works and keeps the link as is.

How do I fix this so that we can continue to use the PowerPress plugin to add the player to the posts? Or do we have to start doing that manually now?
