Manually created order, upper/lower case of email address

Hello. When manually creating an order, then sending the customer the details of the order to their email, once they open the email and follow the link, they then see “To view this page, you must either login or verify the email address associated with the order.“. Most would just enter their email address however they type it by default, usually all lower case, but when I create an order, I usually copy and paste their email address directly from their email they sent in, so it could be like [email protected]. If Joe doesn’t enter it with exactly the same upper and lower case, he has no access. So if he types [email protected], he won’t get access. He has to match exactly the same case that I input it.

This seems pretty silly, and the customers can’t figure it out. Shouldn’t it just accept whatever case the letters are input and not worry about the capitalization? I copy and paste their email the way they have it written, but people don’t consistently adjust the capitalization, unless perhaps they’re auto filling the form.

Using the most current version of Woocommerce, 9.3.3.
