Form with Optional Fieldset | WordPress.org

I am following your tutorial on Form with Optional Fields

I have other optional fields within the fieldset, when I apply the same logic from the tutorial to the fieldset it opens up everything inside. How do I just open the fieldset on-click and have everything else that is assigned to collapse, stay collapsed. Regards, EB
