Customizing or Renaming Sitemap | WordPress.org

Hi,

Is it possible to have a different name and therefore url for the sitemap?
The current sitemap is in example.com/sitemap_index.xml. I want to be able to change it to example.com/myCustomString.xml.

Is there a way to do this using hooks or other methods?
