Using schedule for local backup?

I’m looking to understand your goal clearly, please help me to clarify the goal.
When you state added to the site it is taken from do you mean stored locally?

As a rule, your manual backup settings will be used for scheduled backups too.
You would simply set the schedule and the backups will be stored as defined.
