How to Filter Posts by Custom Field (Author Name)?
Hello,
I have a custom field for author names. These are the authors of literary works my client is posting (so in this sense, it is not the WordPress post author {which would be my client}, but the author of the work.) It is just a text field with the first and last name of the author.
How can I use this field to create a custom dropdown archive filter based on the author and then have it filter and display the posts to show the literary works written by this author? Can I somehow use it in conjunction with “wp_dropdown_categories” or “wp_list_authors”?
