Unable to direct contact form to email prefix .financial (instead of .com etc)

Hi,
I’ve created a couple of contact forms using the Elementor forms. The email address that we have as the sending/receiving email address, like the domain, is a .financial address.

For some reason emails are not being received tho this email address however if I change the email to a test email address with the prefix .co.uk or .com it sends/is received without issue.

I have also tried contact form 7 and have the same issue.

Is there an issue where WordPress can only send to well know generic emails ?
