Connecting to wrong server address

I’m struggling with this one. I have installed the plugin & it was previously working fine. I disabled it temporarily when diagnosing a performance issue.

When I try to turn it back on the I get the “Error establishing a Redis connection” error page. according to the error message the plugin is trying to connect to [tcp://127.0.0.1:6379] this does not match my config my redis server is set to a local IP 192.168.1.18. This is set in my wp-config.php & shows correctly in the diagnostic tab of the plugins admin page. does anyone have any idea what could have happened?
