Woo Commerce Sidebar Parent Category Bold

Hello, I am making a woo commerce store and am using the sidebar widget with products being filtered by categories. In the sidebar on the left of my website I display categories, I’m looking for a way to make only the main parent category titles bold. I am also trying to add a border around the entire sidebar. Have searched everywhere for a solution. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks!
