180 attempts !! instead of 4 as set – [Limit Login Attempts Reloaded] Review

The plugin does not limit the set number of attempts as a whole but PER IP ADDRESS. For example, I sometimes have up to 180 (!!!) failed attempts per day even though I set the number to 4.
This means that intruders simply change IP addresses to continue.
It should be possible to set the maximum number of attempts in totality.
One’s own IP address should be free of exclusions in the process so that you yourself continue to have access at all times.
