Incompatibility with BuddyPress User Blog plugin by BuddyBoss

When Fluent Forms is activated the autosave functionality of the “BuddyPress User Blog” plugin’s frontend editor gets hung up so that the Publish button becomes greyed-out, and stays greyed-out, making it so that the user-blogger cannot publish the post. I contacted BuddyBoss support about it and they said,

“The integration is developed and maintained by WPManageNinja LLC. It is the responsibility of this developer to keep the integration updated to ensure it continues to work as intended and address major security concerns… I highly suggest connecting with Fluent Forms Plugin support with this issue and check if their recent update triggers the compatibility issue of the autosave functionality of the BuddyPress User Blog plugin and get possible resolution.”

I will also note that the BuddyPress User Blog plugin has not been updated in 4 years, as it might be possible that the issue is happening because of deprecated practices in the plugins code. I will definitely let them know if that is the case as I have been trying to get them to make certain updates to the plugin for some time.
