The publication date and dash symbol are automatically appearing

The publication date and dash symbol are automatically appearing in the metadescription.
I definitely wouldn’t like this data to appear in certain content, how do I remove it?
If I can’t delete this information, unfortunately I will have to switch to another plugin, because I publish some timeless content that doesn’t make sense to be dated.
