Subscription order payment method is not saving anymore
Hello,
We’ve been using the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway with the YITH Subscription plugin for subscription orders. Recently, we’ve noticed that a few subscription renewals have failed due to ‘no card saved’ in Stripe. I reached out to YITH, and they informed me that due to a recent update, the ‘Save payment information to my account for future purchases’ checkbox must now be ticked for auto-recurring payments to work.
Many customers are not noticing this option, and we risk losing more subscription customers as a result. I would like to know if this issue will be addressed in the future. YITH Subscription plugin support has advised me that ‘this depends on the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin, so it’s out of their control.’
