Storing external url in the post metadata

I know that it is possible to include the external url as part of the post content and it looks like “Content retrieved from: domain.com”

Is it possible to have the external url be stored in the post metadata, or is there a hook to get that url?
I want to show a grid of posts that were scraped by the plugin, and have the link for each post to be part of the post title and have the link go directly to the external url. If that link was saved with the post then it could be retrieved and used on an archive page like I described above.
