Plugin not working / new release?

Hi,

I have the Plugin v1.65 working on a test server, however the newest plugin v1.70 does not work on the live instance of the same server. (The Admin Tab is not acccessible, no meaningful errormessage is displayed).
Is there a newer Version with the security fix already in place? Is there a timeline for release of v2.0?
