Importing wordpress.com to wordpress.org | WordPress.org

I want to move a free wordpress.com-site to a wordpress.org installation of wordpress.

I tried to use the export / import functions for this but it didn’t work.

I think it was because the site I want to move is in wordpress.com and the target for the site is in wordpress.org.
