Google hasn’t verified this app” + “Something went wrong…”

I’ve followed (i think) all the steps in the tutorial to connect gmail but I can’t get past the Google Verification. When I access Advanced the link text URL is “Go to wpmailsmtp.com” but the link is “https://accounts.google.com/ #” and it throws a “Sorry, try again” error msg.

I’ve clearly missed something….
