Changes to existing product removes all attributes on save

I will preface my request with the fact that I am not a developer, and I have created my own site. I am using WooCommerce on self hosted WordPress. Two days ago, I started having this issue. Any change made to an existing product (in my case, adding three new variations to an item) causes the attributes to be removed when the blue “Update” button is clicked. It doesn’t matter if you re-add the attributes. With every update of the page, the attributes are removed. If you create a new item and save, the save will remove the attributes. Effectively, I cannot make any changes to my stock or add new items. I had updated the 3 plugins that were needing updating, and still had the same issue. I rolled back the site to a previous backup from before the automatic WordPress update, as that was the only change to the site, and my product was back, but the WordPress update automatically updated again, and the problem still persists. I currently have several plugins needing update only due to the rollback to the backup. I have no idea how to find conflicts or solve the issue. Can anyone assist?
