Problem setting up Woo Payments

I can’t complete the set up for Woo Payments.

I clicked on finish set up and it went to an authorisation page to connect the account and then it returns me back to the same page with this error message:

‘There was a problem redirecting you to the account connection page. Please try again’.

now when I click Finish Set up it just shows this error message.

I’ve tried deactivating the plugins and I’ve tried updating the version of WordPress, nothing works. after updating WordPress I had to restore my site from a back up as several links in the backend of the site no longer connected to anything.
