work types, sorting portforlio & taxonomy types

Hi there,
in this page https://cyprustattooconvention.com/artists/, we create each year portfolios showing some artists works. Each year we create the years number for example now we want to create 2024, and each time a new portfolio is created in add the date so that in the above url, it shows the correct and updated portfolios.

What we want is that once someone is visiting the https://cyprustattooconvention.com/artists/ we want to show only the latest artists and now also the previously ‘2023’
